There are two kinds of addiction, mental & physical. Some stuff cause both kinds of addiction, like morphine which is in opium & heroin and amphetamines like ecstasy & Ice (metaphetamine). Some stuff cause only mental addiction like nicotine, marijuana, hashish, LSD, love, sex, money, chocolate, work & etc.
